Well, today rather sucked in that I have had a charlie horse in my leg all day long starting at about 2am. Also, I have two papers to write. One I have to read a huge article and them summarize it, and the other is an argument paper, which I hate writing. Besides all of that, my family and I are scared that something terrible is wrong with my sister Ashley, pretty much the same thing that Mel's sister is going through. So right now I am thinking of finding a crying movie and hopefully that will help sort out all of my emotions.

Peter was watching the gates of Heaven, but he really needed a bathroom break. He asked Jesus to watch the gates for a few minutes, and Jesus replied "Fine." Peter took the book which lists everyone who's supposed to get into Heaven with him to the bathroom to have something to read.
As Jesus stood there, he saw an old man leading a donkey up from Earth to Heaven. He notices the old man has carpenter's tools with him. When the old man reached the gates, Jesus told him he didn't have the book, but asks the old man to explain his life and why he felt he should be admitted into heaven. Jesus would then make the decision whether or not to let him in based on the story.
The man explained "In English, my name would be Joseph, but I didn't live in America or England. I lived a modest life, making things out of wood. I'm not remembered very well by most people, but almost everyone has heard of my son. I call him my son, but I was more of a Dad to him, he didn't really come into this world in the usual way.
I sent my son out to be among the people of the World. He was ridiculed by many, and was even known to associate himself with some pretty unsavory characters, although he himself tried to be honest and perfect. My single biggest reason for trying to get into Heaven is to be reunited with my son."
Jesus is awestruck by the man's story. He looks into the old man's eyes and asks, "Are you MY earthly father?"
The old man's face brightens; he looks at Jesus, and asks, "Are you my Pinocchio?"

I think I need to get better at writing in this thing. I always start a journal or something and never seem to be able to finish it. Hopefully, this is where I will finally be able to overcome this sense of incompletion.

This weekend was great. This weekend was family weekend and my family came up. (family being my mom, Bill (mom's BF), grandma, and grandpa. We had a fun time. My mom and I spent way too much money and actually had a good two days together.

Sense it was family weekend, I asked to get Saturday off and asked to work on Sunday instead. It was crazy, we were a hundred dollars short of breaking the record and we were short handed. Yay *rolls eyes* So I got put on the floor (fixing games, closing duties, cleaning the floor, assisting customers) and was super busy in that sense. That could be way my entire body is sore today, and why I am so tired. Also a proper lack of sleep may also be some factor in it.

Yeah, so the essay that was due last Thursday, but with a week late, is due this thursday is still not done. I have about three pages left and only tonight to actually finish it. Which might not that hard seeing as I got four more books from the library last night. Hopefully I can get at least a half a page or more from them, but a little more would be nice as well.

So other than that, tonight we are going trick-or-treating. I thought that my trick or treating days were over when my little cousin moved to Bend, and then again when I went away to college. However, my cousin decided to visit last year and the past three years just so that he could go trick or treating with me. In college, I am yet again going trick or treating, and yet again with kids, however this time there will be the crazy friends and I am sure that it is going to be a blast. I wonder what Mikey is going to to, he no longer has me to go with....  :)

Sorry that you can't go with us Alix, I hope that you have  fun at your lab tonight... making root beer? And at the party, if you go.

YAY!! I am really glad to be home for the weekend. I am kinda wishing that I can skip work tomorrow, I really don't want to spend the entire day in Salem. Oh Well. I hope you all have a great weekend and I will see ya all later.

...I am really enjoying George Fox University. My new friends are really amazing. Classes can be difficult and but they fun at the same time. Today was kinda difficult, I was sort of hit with the reality of my work load this week and needed a good cry. Which is where my amazing grandmother came in.

Also, tonight hanging out with the amazing friends we had a fire drill here in Macy. It was LOUD and COLD, but also quite humorous.

Hmm... can't think of anything else right now... so TTFN!!!!
